Santa Fe Trail Rendezvous
Hundreds of re-enactors participate in a living-history rendezvous of pre-1840’s clad mountain men with a black-powder shoot, hatchet throw, and teepee village. A Santa Fe Trail reenactment with Indians, Spaniards and mountain men is held on Saturday. It’s the largest gathering of its kind in New Mexico. The eight-day event stretches from the 2nd to 3rd Sunday every June, since 1975. One day-tour of SFT ruts on NRA property leading to Clifton House. Call for specific day.
