It was well after midnight before the lights went down at Main Street Tattoo Parlor on the night of Saturday, June 2.  Trinidad, Colorado, was the site of the first ever Tattoo Expo & CBD Night which was indeed BUZZWORTHY.

David Kemp of HIGH LIFE PROMOTIONS was the master of ceremonies in the newly redesigned tattoo parlor / event venue. High Life Promotions provided transportation for Big Buzz from Gainesville, Florida, hot off an admittedly awkward performance the artist humorously recounted between songs. Personal photography for the entertainer was provided by New Legends Magazine.

Trinidad cannabis outlets UNDERGROUND STATION, TRINIDAD’S HIGHER CALLING U (in conjunction with sister store STUDIO D’ARTE), and FARAGOSI FARMS – hosted by New Legends’ “Pot Shots” correspondent Jess – gifted guests with swag like shirts, hats, lanyards, lapel pins, and popsockets, and held no-cost raffles for impressive smoking accessories. Representatives from popular brands INCREDIBLES WELLNESS, MARY’S NUTRITIONALS, and PYRAMID PENS also travelled south to speak to patrons about the many benefits of their extensive lines of cannabis-derived therapeutic products. Oklahoma-based GREEN MEDS provided well-received samples of their line of pure CBD concentrates. The company will open a new location on Commercial Street in the coming months. ROCKIN’ EXTRACTS provided THC-infused product inside the High Life Promotions party busses, serving up globs of Agent Orange and Jack’s Fire live resin, among other strains.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”15px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”12498″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”12510″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”15px”][vc_column_text]STONER’S TACOS, Trinidad’s favorite taco cart, cooked up their signature street tacos and famous cucumber salad between two party busses parked in the GARDEN OF WEEDEN enclosed courtyard through the rear exit of the venue. The concert’s elevated main stage was visible through the shop’s windows, and guests spent the evening enjoying safe and legal cannabis consumption. MAIN STREET TATTOO PARLOR artists including Trinidad’s renowned Shane Ashley executed on-site tattoos at bargain prices (including matching “SUSHI” tattoos for the evening’s headliner and his wife). Ashley also raffled off a gift certificate worth $500 in tattoo work. Other entertainment included fire-breathing by Kenneth Smith and a unique suspension stunt by tattoo & body modification artist ADAM NEWGINZ, both of Trinidad.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”15px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]

Local favorite DJ SPACELY opened the evening with a fresh set of popular music spanning five decades over seamless beats. Raton musicians DKG, NESTO MARIANI, and GASHO represented the up-and-coming New Mexico hip-hop scene with an energetic set including their popular song “Loco.” Underground artist SONNY DAZE made a rare public appearance, offering the growing crowd a heartfelt performance before the evening’s headliner.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”12529″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_single_image image=”12548″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”12512″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_single_image image=”12549″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”12513″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_empty_space height=”15px”][vc_column_text]BIG BUZZ brought a hurricane of unstoppable energy that is quickly becoming his trademark on the independent hip-hop scene. The crowd dutifully captured the evening via smartphones and bumped along to the Florida entertainer’s original songs “Sushi” a brand new song the MC is shooting a video for on Wednesday, June 6th. The buzzworthy star also performed “Bottomz Up”, and his latest Hot song “Better Way,” among others. Freshly printed t-shirts featuring exclusive new artwork were on merch stands and gifted to frenzied fans, and Buzz made it rain from the main stage in a flurry of currency. Members of the local cannabis scene participated in an on-stage dab off hosted by David Kemp.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”15px”][vc_single_image image=”12520″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”15px”][vc_column_text]Performances ceased around 10:30, but many guests stayed for an intimate after party including shots, cannabis & tattoos the party moved to TRAILS END MOTEL around 1:00 AM where Big Buzz showed mad love to his entourage of fans socializing with the crowd signing autographs finally retiring with an open motel door for friends, family and fans to chill and be real.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_empty_space height=”15px”][vc_empty_space height=”15px”][vc_images_carousel images=”12533,12534,12535,12536,12537,12538″ img_size=”full” speed=”4000″ autoplay=”yes” hide_pagination_control=”yes” hide_prev_next_buttons=”yes” wrap=”yes”][vc_text_separator title=”Click to Enlarge”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]The party continued into the early morning until Big Buzz and his lovely wife Monica grubbed on the emergency late-night “feast” provided by New Legends Magazine. The dynamic star, High Life Promotions and friends enjoyed breakfast with the staff of New Legends in the home of CEO Steve Wharton on Sunday morning before embarking on an exclusive tour of TRINIDAD HARVESTING COMPANY’s cannabis grow and processing facility. The afternoon was spent seeing the sights and spending time with the people of Trinidad before the rapper’s departure on Sunday evening. He plays Tampa, Florida, this Friday, June 8.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”15px”][vc_column_text]

Big Buzz will return to Trinidad on JULY 28, 2018, to support dirty south superstar BUBBA SPARXXX at Main Street Tattoo Parlor.
