HOSPITAL WELCOMES NEW SPEECH THERAPIST

Dana Janovsky
SLP-PT

Mt. San Rafael Hospital is excited to announce the addition of speech therapist, Dana Janovsky, to the Rehabilitation Services team.  Ms. Janovsky comes to Mt. San Rafael Hospital from New Jersey and is a great addition to the already dynamic staff providing rehabilitation services to patients.

Speech Therapy (ST) is used to help patients regain and increase their ability to communicate through speech.  It is designed to address language and speech problems, and also swallowing disorders.  Mt. San Rafael Hospital understands speech therapy is a critical component to the rehabilitation process, and with this addition to its existing services, the Hospital and Clinic can now offer patients a rehabilitation program with more comprehensive care to help individuals meet their long-term healthcare goals.

Mt. San Rafael Hospital is committed to providing the highest quality patient care, restoring patient function, and improving quality of life for patients.  Rehabilitation Services currently provided includes both inpatient and outpatient therapy for physical and speech therapy, along with cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation.  Mt. San Rafael Hospital’s team of highly trained and dedicated professionals works closely with hospital physicians and other healthcare personnel in coordinating patient care tailored to specific needs.  The team puts great emphasis on patient and family education to further enhance individual progress.

“We continue to search for ways we can enhance our existing services and add services to meet the ever-growing needs of our patients and their families.  And, we are working hard to improve both care and services in our facility.  To that end, we couldn’t be happier to have the opportunity to add speech therapy to our rehabilitation services program.  And, Ms. Janovsky is a great fit for our organization and for the patients we serve,” John Tucker, Chief Executive Officer of Mt. San Rafael Hospital, said.  “As always, we remain committed to our patients and their families; striving to improve access, technology and services for their benefit,” Mr. Tucker added.

Mt. San Rafael Hospital is a 25-bed, critical access facility serving the medical and surgical needs of Trinidad residents and the surrounding areas.  For more information about the hospital or Rehabilitation Services offered through the Hospital and Clinic, please contact Kim Lucero, Director of Planning and Development, at (719) 846-8053.
