The 109th Labor Day Weekend Rodeo & Festival will take place Friday, August 30 – Monday, September 2, 2019.

Schedule of Events

Tue. Aug 13: Queen contest deadline (Call Kristy 719-859-0048)
Sat. Aug 17: Queen Contest – Mitchell Museum and LAC Fairgrounds
Mon. Aug 19: Sponsorship ads and moneys due (any banners that need made are due by this date)
Mon. Aug 19: Vendor applications due (Call Ron 719-766-0544)
Mon. Aug 26: PLTT Parade Deadline – Parade Theme – Saddled Up and Untameable (Becky 719-680-8029)
Wed. Aug 28: Arena banner money due (provide own banner to hang)
Wed. Aug 28: Silent Auction Items due to Becky (719-680-8029)

FRIDAY, AUGUST 30:

  • PLTT Downtown Night and Labor Day Kick off Social (Time and place to be determined)

SATURDAY, AUGUST 31:

  • All day: PLTT Offsite Sales all weekend, Vendors, Booths @ Las County Fair Grounds (call Ron to set up booth: 719-766-0544)
  • 1:00pm: 4-H Cornhole Tournament, Indoor Arena (Call John: 858-692-3499)
  • 8:00pm: Silent Auction
  • 8:00pm-midnight: Dance, music by CappTonReid, Indoor Arena
  • 9:00pm: Queen Coronation

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 1:

  • All day: Wear Pink Day, support breast cancer awareness
  • 1:00pm: Rodeo, Westernaires & kids events

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 2:

  • 9:00am: Parade (Deadline for entries Aug. 26) Line up begins at 6:30am. Theme: Saddled Up and Untameable
  • After parade: Republican Party Free BBQ, Round Up Park
