NATIONAL HOSPITAL WEEK PUTS SPOTLIGHT ON PEOPLE

TRINIDAD, CO – A hospital is more than a place where people go to heal, it is a part of the community that fosters health and represents hope. From providing treatment and comfort to the sick, to assisting individuals in transforming their overall health condition, hospitals are central to a healthy and optimistic community. That’s the message organizers are touting with the 2022 National Hospital Week theme, “We are Health Care.”The event theme is the centerpiece of a promotional campaign aimed at recognizing the women and men who work in America’s hospitals and health systems across the country during the May 8–14 celebration. The nation’s largest healthcare event, National Hospital Week dates back to 1921 and is a celebration of the history, technology and dedicated professionals that make hospitals beacons of confidence and care. “Hospital Week, first and foremost, is a celebration of our people at the Hospital and our Clinics,” John Tucker, Chief Executive Officer of Mt. San Rafael Hospital, said. “And, our people give their all every single day to ensure every patient receives the very best care. It’s been very humbling, especially in the last couple of years with COVID, to see our team’s dedication, hard work and compassion to our patients in the face of so much adversity. The people on our team are everything to this organization. And, we’re extremely proud of each member of our staff and recognize the important role they play in extending a sense of trust and comfort to our patients and the community,” Mr. Tucker added.

Mt. San Rafael Hospital and Clinics is honoring its dynamic team of professionals by celebrating with activities for employees that provide some fun, a little extra TLC and appreciation for all they do for patients, their families and for the people of our community. Mr. Tucker further stated, “We are so grateful for all of the dedicated and outstanding Hospital and Clinic professionals that help make this facility so tremendous for our patients and our community; it’s truly a privilege to recognize their ongoing commitment.”
